EconModel

EconModel is a program that runs economic models using a web browser interface.  Students can work with models immediately, clicking on browser links to shift curves and run simulations.  More advanced users will find that EconModel incorporates features that set a new standard for modeling capabilities.  More about EconModel.

Model Links

Many of the pages on this web site display a Model Link.  Do not click on model links until you have installed EconModel.  If you click on a model link before you install EconModel, your computer will give you a "What do you want to do with this file?" dialog box.  You can click "Cancel", but without EconModel there is no point in trying a model link.

Free Trials

The free trials are currently Basic Supply and Demand, Price Discrimination, the Classical Model of Production and Employment, and the Keynesian IS/LM Model.
